Love School Italia - 2nd Edition

Together we will enter and co-hold spaces of theory and experimentation, to expand our visions of what love can be.

Why Love School?

Love is supposed to feel good. We believe that the struggles and pain we experience in love have origin mainly in the societies we are shaped by. And the pain goes far beyond individual drama and
disappointment. Both the origins and consequences of our difficulties go far beyond ourselves.
In Love School we think together about how culture influences our beliefs and behaviours in the areas of love and sexuality. From there we begin to ask about other cultures and possibilities,
understanding the past and looking to the future. Our work on individual topics almost always leads us to questions about culture and community. Our work can have impacts beyond our intimate relations, contributing to positive change in our communities, our societies, and the world.

Who is this for?

Our invitation is first of all to people interested in bringing these topics – love, and community – together.

We are calling for

1. people from communities and other groups, who want to bring more consciousness to the topics of attraction and relationship, which are always present when human beings come together;
   and
2. people engaged as educators and explorers in love and sexuality, who want to understand the role community can have in their work.
   (If you’re not sure this is you, but you feel called to join: Welcome. Our goal is not to exclude anyone, but to give you an idea of our approach.)

The Team:
Love School will be facilitated by A'ida Al-Shibli, Chiara Baldini, Dara Silverman, Sami B Awad and Frederick Weihe. Experienced in bringing compassion, intelligence, and spirit to the subjects of love, sex, and relationship. This includes decades in the Tamera community and its Love School. They are active in the ecological, political, and spiritual transformation of our modern cultures.
