Passionate about movement, perception, and embodied learning, I have been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® and Contact Improvisation since 2011. Born in Rome, I trained there in Feldenkrais between 2007 and 2011, beginning a path of research that continues to evolve through practice, study, and teaching.

Sicily Contact Improv Retreat - Third Edition
Inside the experience
This retreat offers a unique opportunity for both beginners and experienced movers to immerse themselves in an intensive shared study of Contact Improvisation and somatic practices that support and enrich the dance. Through five days of exploration, participants will engage with different approaches to movement, listening, touch, weight-sharing, composition, and improvisation in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The program will be guided by three international teachers with diverse artistic and pedagogical backgrounds: Marta Iucci (Italy), Marta Wrzesinska (Poland), and Jesús Alonso (Spain). Their different perspectives will create a rich and dynamic space for learning, research, and exchange.
The retreat will take place at Femminamorta, an amazing venue featuring a luminous 180 m² dance studio with breathtaking views of the Sicilian landscape. Surrounded by the island’s natural beauty — from the sea to the powerful presence of Mount Etna — the environment itself becomes part of the experience, supporting presence, connection, and creativity.
More than a workshop, the Sicily Contact Improvisation Retreat is an invitation to deepen one’s practice, meet an international community of dancers and movers, and share a meaningful experience of research, play, and collective growth.
